Update: March 8, 2025

Since March 19, 2024 (St. Joseph's Feast Day) , I have gone through a critical health issue.  Finally, I have started YyYGARD treatments for MG (Myasthenia Gravis).  We are praying for noticeable improvement over the coming months of injections.  Please include my wife & me in your prayers ... The Power of Prayer has brought me back to handle these conditions, which I accept as blessings.

Here is the Forward to Benjamin's Captured Moments, Vol One:

What do authors do when they finish their latest writing? For me, they were simply filed away in chronological order within manila folders and left there. Year after year.

As time passed, they began to haunt me, and I wondered if they would ever be worth reading. I could publish some of the poems and share them with those who hopefully would be touched by the same notions that originally compelled me to write them in the first place.

Around the first of 2021, I prayed for help! I was not getting any further on my own. The idea came to me to create a section on my website, CloudCrafts.com, called BC’s Blog. I began to post these poems on April 4, Easter Sunday, 2021. I thanked God for His new guidance. 

I was certain that our Lord had answered my prayers. He directed me with earlier dated poems, and then he started inspiring me regularly with new keywords or phrases to start new poems. I call them Benjamin’s ‘Captured Moments.’

From that Easter morning and then every Wednesday thereafter, I posted two of Benjamin’s ‘Captured Moments’ to those who subscribed.

Captured Moments, because these prompts I understand to be from God who has drawn me to Him, closer in my Faith. I know He inspires me to write. He desires me to act at once, not to let them sit in folders. It was an obvious lesson because they were gone quickly. I understood that if I did not write them down immediately, they would pass as fast as they came to me.

The train of thought took off, and within moments, His prompts led me to transcribe the flow, completing the circle to close the initial idea by the 14th line. Captured Moments are like Sonnets, they reveal how God’s Love reaches out to us and welcomes our conversations.

For you who are puzzled or skeptical to believe anything these days, I think these Captured Moments will touch your heart and soul to be confident there is a God who is the One certain Truth in our world. He sent His Son Jesus Christ as our Savior, and the Holy Spirit provides the sufficient Grace we need to know our Creator. He knows each of us intimately and is always present. Jesus can be our best Friend if only we let Him into our lives. He always respects our free will, so it is up to each of us to individually invite Him, then get out of His way and go with the flow. You will become aware of His Divine Providence, which is no coincidence. We can have an open line of communication between us.

I consider these Captured Moments to be a blessing to share. They are not mine alone, they are from spiritual inspirations. They are destined to be read by hope-filled readers searching for Truth in the world, which comes from Heaven and not our material culture. The true blessings are a way that our Lord demonstrates that He loves each of us and that when we talk with Him, he can explain how to think about things in our minds. In my case, He interjected a certain word or two into my conscience, and then I listened. Thus, the consistent 14-line format.

I had no idea how long these prompts were going to last. One year led to another, and when 2024 arrived, I began feeling anxious because I felt they were coming to an end, and I wasn’t ready for that. Be ready for what you pray for. He answered my anxiousness, leaving me with a firm answer.

Approaching one week of posting on the 3rd anniversary of His poems, just before Easter 2024, I was hit with an auto-immune disease called Myasthenia Gravis (gMG), which stopped me in my tracks and hospitalized me for quite some time. I had posted 310 poems spontaneously transcribed by Our Lord’s prompts. That was the end of Benjamin’s Captured Moments. Not to worry anymore! This is Volume One, containing half of the total poems, with the second coming soon.

Posting of "Captured Moments"  is still under BC's Blog ... However, my ability to continue the postings has been curtailed while the Inspirations to capture special thoughts continues ... and I am able to jot them down.  You and those whom you share with can only access them thru https://cloudcrafts.com/bcs-blog  Copy & Paste to those whom you think will benefit.  I hope to bring them back in an e-book as soon as I understand how?

Since March 20, 2024 nearly 3 complete years frrom the first post on Easter April 04,2021, I was struck with a critical health issue which had me in ICU & Acute Care.  It wasn't until the end of May I that was able to come home.

Finally, under the supervision of our Nuero-Muscular Research Specialist I will be starting IVIG treatments for MG (Myasthenia Gravis) on 8/26/24.  We are praying for noticeable improvement over the many months of these transfusions.  Please include my wife & I in your prayers ... The Power of Prayers has brought me back from "A Half Breath From Death" to handle these conditions which I accept as blessings.

Easter Sunday  April 04, 2021

While in my mid 50's I felt a need to ask God for more Faith ... mine seemed to level out & I believed there was much more Jesus had in mind for me and each of us.  Early in 2021 a compulsion to share these many inspirations helped me to start putting them out there for others who relate or pray for Our Lord to draw them closer ... and closer.  My prayer continues to be answered and I pray the same for each and everyone who may not know the results but is willing to hand it over to our best friend and Savior.

Benjamin is my Baptismal name. It's my blessing to prayerfully receive these Captured Moments which come and go so fast... Over years of experiencing and wondering about their authenticity, their source has helped me be drawn closer in my relationship with Jesus. Each 'Moment' is filed by the date they were written ... ie; Feb. 26, 2017 > 170226 (yr/mo/day) These posts started at Sunrise on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021 via email ... two additional poems have been emailed at 6:00 AM every Wednesday since. Share Love, Foster Hope, Trust in Jesus' Divine Mercy ... all God's blessings

I've had periods when I felt lost and uncertain ... As I go thru my past writings I will be sorting those times into Stepping Through The Mind Field.  If there is interest in those thoughts and have sufficient financing or publisher I hope to share these as a primer going forward to Benjamin's Captured Moments

This collection of writing is somewhat a timeline of my development thru 1970 - 1980 with some 1990s toward the end.  The first publication occurred when these thoughts and perceptions were assembled as a handwritten book, which I gave my parents, Bruce & Virginia Cloud.  The inside cover read:  Mom and Dad with all my love, Christmas '91 

Someday I wish to publish these earlier developmental thoughts.

Articles Written to the Employees of the Company,  My Father wrote many messages to the men & women who he worked with ... Before he passed away he asked me to collect the printings and possibly publish as a primer for the next generation of of owners and managers.  The 1st edition (AuthorHouse 12/4/2009 ... ISBN 978-1-4389-4108-0 Soft Cover, ISBN 978-1-4389-4109-7 Hard Cover ) if formatted in the same style as originally printed in the company's Safety and Newsletter.  However, Dad never saw the finished product for he passed March 12, 2007. I understand the 1st edition needs additional editing; but, nervertheless it is a good read and we thank you for your interest.

Comment:  Keith Q, - I knew after I read the first few pieces that your Dad had the ability to write motivating and clear messages.  An unusual ability and one not expected of engineers in any profession. I have only read a few.  There is clearly a theme which should be good for any company manager to share with his employees.  I would encourage you to open it up to others.
